Hi everyone!  I just wanted to welcome you to my brand new blog for Pebbles Reading Rockstars.  I starting the program, where I go to schools to read to children, because I strongly believe in the power of reading. There is a reader in every child.  Sometimes it's tough and takes a lot to pull that reader out of them, but we can do it!

Through this blog I will be sharing some of my favorite books to read to kids, tips from the experts on how to raise a reader, info from other youth literacy organizations with the same goals, and ways to make reading fun for you and your child, niece or nephew, younger sibling, grandchild, or any other kid you come in contact with. 

I would also love to hear your stories and the tips that have worked for you.  It would be my pleasure to pass them on in the hopes of creating a new reading community.  Also, feel free to send me pictures of your kids reading their favorite book or you reading to them.
