FLO-RIDA AND JADA AT SIX FLAGS!

Did anyone catch the Flo-Rida show at Six Flags with Jada?  My girls Jada opened for Flo-Rida so I was backstage glamorizing.  It was a great show!  I'm so glad it wasn't rained out.  I'm always doing something fun with Jada:)


BEACH BEAUTY ESSENTIALS

So a lot of you have asked me about beach beauty essentials..  SPF is a must have!  Your makeup can add to the protection if you use lip balm or a tinted moisturizer with SPF.  When you are on the beach remember that sunlight is the most unforgiving. Less makeup is always better when at the beach.  Never do your makeup inside without natural light for the beach.  It will look heavier than you planned. 

I think tinted moisturizer with SPF/ regular moisturizer with SPF, waterproof mascara, and lip balm with SPF is all you need for a day at the beach!

And ladies- if you are all about the shoes, then be all about the pedicure!  Don't just get the annual Spring pedicure and neglect your tootsies for the season.  They take quite a beating in the summer when you walk barefoot and swim in saltwater.  Here are some tips to keep your feet looking Manolo-perfect all season.

 

At Home Spa Pedicures

While a good pedicure and spa treatment can be a great way to get your feet ready for sandals we have some ideas and recipes you can create at home as well. Inexpensive with great results!

 

Problem: Calluses 

Treatment:  Strawberry Foot Scrub

Mix ½ pint fresh crushed strawberries, 1 cup brown sugar, and 2 tablespoons olive oil into a grainy paste. Scrub it onto your soles with your hands, then rinse off and wrap your feet in warm towels for about ten minutes to seal in moisture.

 

Problem: Dry & Cracked Skin

Treatment: Milk & Honey Pedicure Soak

Ingredients:  3 Tablespoons of Honey, 1 cup of sugar, 1 cup of Whole Milk and 6 Drops of Almond Oil. Fill a footbath with hot water and then add the honey and mix. Next add your milk and almond oil. Soak feet for five minutes and then exfoliate with sugar. Soak another 10 minutes and then pat dry your feet.

I am so excited to bring you the Backstage Celebrity Style Report at Summer Jam! 

My team from Lily Artist Management will be available backstage for the celebrities if they want their hair and makeup done.  Our favorite celebs- Ramiro, Pebbles, and Melissa will be getting picture perfect with us. 

In case you are wondering, we only put a little powder on Ramiro for photography and video.  Pebbles loves false lashes and lip gloss.  She looks so great with a strong eyeliner and lashes.  It really makes her beautiful eyes pop!  Melissa is my sparkly one!  She lets me have fun with glitter and shimmer.  I've used false lashes that have rhinestones for her.  It looks so cool.  They don't know it yet but I have a lot of amazing false lashes for them to choose from this year!  I picked them up when I was in Miami last month with the girls in mind:)
