Surviving R. Kelly Pt. II: The Reckoning isn’t the only Lifetime documentary to catching up on.Hopelessly In Love also had some gems in it.
The documentary revealed some tidbits about Lisa “Left Eye” Lopes and her relationships back in the day, as well as her love triangle with Andre Rison. The TLC member apparently would have a tumultuous “on and off” relationship with the Atlanta Falcons wide receiver and during a few of those break-ups, she went to hang out with 2pac.
As close friends and family of Lisa call it, Shakur was her soulmate. The two finished each other’s sentences, liked the same things and had a crazy connection.
Rison spoke about their relationship as well, saying that he never trusted whether or not the two slept together, even though he thought they did.
Her camp refutes any claims about that, saying 2pac told Left Eye he wouldn’t.
Suge Knight also took part in the documentary and he revealed that he later had a sexual relationship with Lopes, following Tupac’s death. Apparently, she brought her stuff over to his crib and never left. Lisa was looking to branch away from TLC and wanted more creative freedom.
Once Andre heard about that, he was done with her. He called it “messy” and ended any hope of the two being together, considering she called off their wedding.
