South Boston St. Patrick's Day Parade Officially Cancelled

Mayor Marty Walsh announced the annual St. Patrick's Day parade has been canceled for this year due to Coronavirus scare.

Residents in Southie are sure not to be happy with decision but city officials are not willing to risk the spread of the disease as the number of people that have contracted the virus continues to climb rapidly in the state.

Boston's St. Patricks Day parade is one of most popular in the country attracting over a million people to South Boston.
