After her 4-year-old daughter ended up in critical condition at the hospital, this mother was charged on a count of first-degree child abuse and first-degree assault.
The 20-year-old mother, Iris Hernandez Rivas, admitted to officials that she kicked her daughter in the abdomen for not brushing her teeth that morning, which apparently made her outraged.
Her daughter remains in the hospital for the serious damage she's experiencing medically.
