NBA Player Drug Tested After Hitting Game Winner

Almost immediately after Kawhi Leonard hit a game winning shot against the Houston Rockets over the weekend, the NBA selected him for a random drug test, according to ESPN’s Michael Wright.

Although the timing of the drug test could seem suspicious, Wright thinks Leonard “would’ve been tested if he had gone 0 for 40” and stated that the NBA tests randomly throughout the year, including during the season.
